I wanted to get this patch recorded before I update the app. This may be the last known recording of Strokes to a single output! It’s all improvised in one take on the eight internal Plaits voices. All the melodies are from the Strokes sequencers.

No external instruments or fx. It’s all Strokes straight to disk in one take.

    Very cool! I almost bailed to be honest a few seconds in.. but after about the 1 minute mark I was glad I stuck around. That thick meaty rhythmic chugging really hits the spot.

    And you’ve got me interested in this Strokes app too!

    Nothing at all. From Strokes straight to disk. The Plaits modules sound so good raw.

    Reminds me of Jean-Michel Jarre to be honest. Now I'm intrigued and interested in checking out Pure Strokes for myself.

    Oh 100%. The dev did a great job porting. Might be my favorite current port of Plaits honestly. And I say that as a big Tera Pro fan.

    I haven’t heard much of his stuff; I will have to check him out. This one was emulating Steevio’s bag. I find Strokes great fun, if you like semi-modular-style sequencing and synthesis. It’s perfect for the Steevio thing, but will do all kinds of styles.
