    Some midi routes to consider:
    1. Wireless Midi - Widi - CME or Roland would be my go too(s). CME has an iPad app to help with routing groups and finding the wireless midi. Not too sure about the Roland offering. Both work with the iPads wireless.
    2. Use a USB-C hub and attach the midi device to the hub via USB
    3. Use a, preferably USB-C, interface that has MIDI ports on it and connect the Faderfox to that

I've done all 3 of the scenarios listed above. They all work.

    Thanks audiblevideo.

Cant I just midi out from faderfox to cck?

Need to keep controllers as is. Which go to audio4c.

But 3rd ipad is just midi and the faderfox has another midi out.

I think you can connect a 5 pin midi keyboard to usb cable to an ipad ( or a cck )

    Not sure anyway.

    Its a spare 3rd ipad.

Might just keep for drawing and buy a paperlike.

  • Got a cme bt but Id need controllers to be wired for other ipads

The faderfox has another midi out.

Ec4 to pc12. To audio4c and then routes to both ipads connected to audio4c.

The 3rd ipad might just need a cable from faderfox pc12 ( but also to buy a cck ) Obviously after buying a cable or advice if it would work.

but it were really just for vs synth ( which is cool ) but need materials/shaders.

If it’s usb-a out from the faderfox and the MIDI goes out the usb, then yes

What about 5 pin midi to usb?

Theres extension out. Which is like an ethernet lol

    Thanks.

  • You’d have to buy an adapter similar to the CME offerings that converts 5pin din to usb.
iConnectivity sells one under the name Mio - there are less expensive ones

    Thanks AV.

    Will probably just use screen

    If I keep ipad.

  • Faderfoxes are known to have issues (i.e. not work with) Bluetooth MIDI dongles.
A safe bet would be a Roland UM-One mk2 with its MIDI plug at the Faderfox and the USB port at the CCK.

    Cheers rs.

Just seeing if apple pencil charges now.

Might keep for drawing if I dont use for music.

Although a 3rd ipad to line in plus midi could maybe be a mirack or strokes device but its loads of synth. 2 ipad 9 and an ipad air 3.

And maybe vs synth. So you can see where sequencing is on other ipads etc but havent really used app to make decision.

I were going to just take ipad back. Glitchy from 2019. Theres been turf wars for less than £800 but it means kind of begging in a store. Could of used the money saved though and its just for a device with same spec.
