4pockets Progressions

Does anybody know how to enable host sync? And how about adding your own sound font?

Don’t forget there’s is a built in manual - found by clicking the hamburger menu on the top left.

Sync is enabled by pressing the 3rd button from the top right. About Soundfonts I have no idea as I generally use it to send midi to other apps. Sure it is in the manual tho.

    Cheers!

    Great to hear!

  • I know it's meant to sent midi but if anyone has a few spare instruments (i.e., Chameleon etc) it 4P. Progressions would be so much more useful with a selection of basic instruments.

In standalone mode there’s a Folder icon on the bottom edge. Touch it and it exposes the Web Dav IP address. Using that local IP address in a browser and you will be presented with a user interface exposing the installed SoundFonts and be able to upload more… I used my iPhone since the browser on the iPad didn’t seem to work.

Then in Settings->Instrument Settings you can select the new SF2 (or DLS) and any instrument in that collection.

Thanks for asking… I had to poke around to locate the correct answer and now I have a bunch of SF2’s added. Unfortunately, I mostly have Piano SF2 but I did find more orchestras in my iCloud/BS-16i folder to upload from my iPhone.
