  • First time I try to publish a track outside Soundcloud so I struggle to find how you do to post an embedded track a new try

  • Cool track. Dark and brooding on the dance floor, and the sun is just beginning to rise

Thanks for the nice comment, you understand very well what inside this short track.

Many thanks. You are a reference for me in creative electro sounds.

  • Love this track.
Quite cinematic, and a bit dark.

Many thanks , it is dark indeed as it was related to my mood when I did it.

  • I didn’t find this to be dark, at all. It could be the opening theme for an adventure movie. I like the unexpected starts and stops. I especially liked the bass line and percussion at :38. Is this just Part 1? I would love to try my hand at Part 2, if you are ever interested. I like this a lot.

Many thanks for your comments, what is nice in music is that it create a different world. It was done as I was in a very difficult time over 1 years ago and need to express it by music , I did it in 2 hours concentrate in my emotional so there are no part it is really one shot. Very few effects , very few mixing and no mastering.

I will be pleased to collaborate with you on a less emotional project. Many thanks to open the door.

  • Nice track, very atmospheric!

Thanks for your nice comment @zvon

  • Cool track! Short and sweet. Also gave you a follow on SoundCloud. I’m HotStrange on there

  • That’s a fuckin’ epic sound… I could see this being great for an intense movie score. I love music that has drive and emotional power. Keep posting as you create more work. You have good instincts for keeping it interesting.

Keep posting your efforts. I think your musical judgement is pretty good. As always I love to find out what apps were used
if you care to share any details. I like the emphasis on the low end to give the track gravitas and extra weight.

I did it in 2 hours on the go in a deep emotional step , it was over 1 year ago perhaps 2 years ago and I can really remenber what I used as apps , the Daw was Cubasis , I can only remenber that I use a 909 drum kit for the kick redesigned with with FX and it was done on my old IPad Air 2 as I bought quite recently my IPad Air 4 .

Sorry but at this time during months I did a lot of tracks without thinking to document them my music was really instinct music in a jam way.

My way to do music is not very tech , I do it straight away when I am in a strong mood to express myself, first I try to find first a sound that fit that mood , and from this sound I wrap it.

At this time It was a mess to organize thing. I create every day some sound design many very bad , and I stock them as sample. On Moog Model D and 15 and other synth I work to find sounds and preset , and I had now samples of them and writing note about presets I have done in folders on my IPad Air 4 and each folder have a name that represent a specific mood or emotional state.

This is my very personal way to do music.

I got a more structured project it should be to do a track with Fluss synth a saxo ( perhaps Swam saxo not yet in my apps tools)

  • That description makes perfect sense to me… sound design is probably why I like the track so much. There’s great attention to your sound choices and it sets this apart. I’m a lazy fuck and I just grab presets but I’ve bought so many apps I’ve got a lot of useful presets. Still… looking for a new sound to create the right feeling is a real skill to work for… but it is work so… I’m out.

  • I can hear this type of music being used in the background of a videogame or movie score as the protagonist(s) slowly make their way towards the final battle with the main antagonist while crawling through air ducts during the third act. Gives me "80s Action Film" vibes.

Why I love in music is that you got different perspectives, you can heard the darkness , action in 80.s movie it let you imagination travel.

What is the story behind this music : few months before I was at hospital after a broke , blood in my brain , unconscious. So for me it was a way to express the transition between a normal stressful life follow by an accident in my brain and again how after I recovered for a more peaceful life .

I struggle a lot to find a suitable sounds design that feel to me or my mood from trying many’s apps but also sampling in the street or outside on my IPhone recording many sounds to use on koala first.

I want to buy a Shure microphone adaptable to iPhone , did someone try it or use an other apps on IPad and a microphone harware ?

  • You must know our premier sound designer @Spidericemidas. I hope he’ll give this a listen. Worthwhile and improvised. It’s good when they come together.

I try not to cuss much here these days, but holy shit mate. :open_mouth: So music has been your salvation too? That makes sense. Music is very therapeutic.

  • Very cool. I get suspenseful sneaking around vibes from this too, either in a video game or tv show.
