Creating killer mixes for Star Trek Picard season 2

edited May 2023 in Hardware

So I'm catching up on my throw away TV and jamming through Picard season 2. I get to the last episode of the season and they are desperately trying to deactivate some drones that will blow up a major plot point.

Apparently the bad guy is using a Korg nanoKontrol2 to program the drones:

My wife and I had a good giggle over that.

The drones might not explode but I betcha that mix sounds excellent 🤣

    Hahah! Yes!

  • There are old Akai S series samplers all over the remake of Battlestar Galactica too.

  • Seeing it reminded me that they used Eventide Harmonizers in Contact:

  • Wasn’t Borderlands used in a scene in a movie also?

Sorry, that's the Behringer clone, the Borg Nanite Controller.

I can't remember what show/movie it was, but I saw a Novation Circuit being used as a futuristic computer keyboard in something sci-fi. Amusing stuff!

Picard Season 2 is more Akai Timbre Wolf than Nanokontrol 2. Season 3 is bloody amazing, though. Absolutely loved it!
