PianoMotifs into LK midiseq/grid?
Does anyone have any experience with this kind of workflow?
PianoMotif’s “arrange” kinda leaves something to be desired… So I was thinking that running pianomotifs into something like Lk and recording the clips would be a pretty excellent way to generate a wide variety of stuff to experiment with… But as I dug into the Lk thread, I’m worried it may be too buggy…
Anyone running a setup/workflow like this that can offer their pov?

Record Piano Motifs into Atom instances (as many as you need routed by midi channel for each part)
Atom is EXCELLENT for transposition time alterations scale changing... all, if you want NON DESTRUCTIVELY. Then use the Sequence Atom with Atom or use a lauchpad/keyboard to switch up clips.
The only downside is velocity and a few other CCs are RECORDED but cant be edited. Which is when you need to import the midi clips into the EXCELLENT Xequence 2 ( by @SevenSystems ) or Cubasis (etc) to edit those values
You could also use Helium, but I find it doesnt have the same flexible tools to COMPLETELY transform midi as ATOM does.
Yea, I mean that sounds possible.. But lets say I want up to 8 clips of 4 channels... That's a lot of ATOM's, right?
Have you considered Drambo? I have recorded 4 channels out of PM into multiple clips, works great. LK should work, too.
