What are the differences between Synthmaster one and 2 ?

I got Synthmaster 2 but many use on the same song One and 2 so my questions. Is it a matter of presets ?

As far as I remember, SM2 can do everything version one does.
Dudius maximus, it looks like you want someone to tell you to get it. It looks like no one is going to tell you to get it. It is up to you. I say you can’t lose with 2 of the most iconic pieces of software from an amazing developer , but you did just miss the sale i think it’s over now. SOOO def get it. The thing is can you wait for a sale or must you have it now. if you have SynthMaster 2, that has like what 1400 synths or something. If that doesn’t hold you over then get it now. Otherwise play with synth 2 till it hurtssssssss owwwchhh

I admit. I have less than $100 spent in the App Store. I bought Cubasis 3 and a couple of AUV3 but I never imagined owning synths until I came on here and I got the Moogs at the recommendation of people here. So dont take my recommendation as gold since I’m just as new as you. I say it’s a good buy, but you aren’t missing out like the other way around.
If you had SynthMaster one and asked me, do you think “i should get SynthMaster 2?” I would say YESSSSS

Thanks it was just to understand why some people use both , I got Synthmaster 2 and it seems enough so I will not buy the One , I am not in a hurry.
Don’t forget - Synthmaster3 is currently being developed! Might be out towards end of year maybe...

Oh really!? That is something to look forward to certainly. Surprised I didn not hear of it sooner or from anyone else. That is going to be an epic releaseI am guessing. K33V1 must keep up with the independent dev around here, like it seems to be a real blossomin period for the iOS world of music
found this small info about SynthMaster 3:
„…SynthMaster 3 will be able to load SynthMaster One presets as layers.“
Probably then also presets from Synthmaster 2.
Maybe then Synthmaster One and 2 are unnecessary!?
SM One and 2 are different synths and have different sound engines, and cannot play sounds made in the other. Both are wavetable synths, SM2 adding additive synthesis. SM Player is a preset player for SM2 sounds.
SM3 will be able to play sounds from both when released and is the developers most advanced synth to date. Work in progress but no release date is yet announced. It will most likely be released on desktop first, then maybe ported to iOS, no promises given from the developer.

SM2 is more advanced than SM1. It has more oscillators, envelopes, modulation possibilities. Also being our flagship product, it has more content. SM1 is more easy to use I guess, everything is on one single screen
A second layer mostly
SM 1&2 are great (for that money - even much more)! SM1 is the way to go fast - SM2 can act as a „rabbit hole“. I love both of them and am totally nervous waiting on SM3 (because I have the free three update card via my everything Synthmaster bundle). Hopefully it comes soon 🙂
