Adagio in A minor (Piano Motifs, Bismark bs-16i, Cascade and various Nembrini apps)

I happened upon a rather nice progression generated by Piano Motifs, which I used to play a Nylon String Guitar patch in Bismarck bs-16i, going through the new Phonolyth Cascade app.
So I decided to play my guitar along with it, through a Nembrini Cali Reverb amp, Delay 3000 and Analog Rack Reverb, plus ToneBoosters EQ.
It is quite melancholy but also, I hope, nice to listen to.

  • @AlterEgo_UK, yes very nice to listen to. A sense of longing and melancholy in your live guitar performance.

  • Well done! I'd have stage fright playing right to the camera like that. Mostly because I'd make too many flubs. Also you get me interested in Piano Motifs.

    It IS 🙏🏻👍🏻

  • Thank you, @azul3D_Apps , @Stochastically (you don’t know how many takes it took! 😉) and @Gratouilli

  • Yes, very nice to listen to. I love watching you play. You are completely in the zone. I’ve been there a few times and it’s really beyond words, isn’t it?

Yes, it is one of the reasons I love music! A possible down side is that I am usually unable to reproduce what I have played without studying a video or teaching myself via trial and error! Luckily, I don’t play gigs so that isn’t an issue 😉

    Agree, very nice backing music!
Your guitar playing is so lovely, and I can feel the emotions from your fingers.
Your guitar tone is gorgeous, love this sound!!!
The visual addition is a plus, and I am digging this recording.

Thank you so much @ReneAsologuitar - I really appreciate that.

  • Very nice, indeed, bro. Have a good weekend.

  • Everything came together. For some reason it reminds me of Camel.

  • Nice!

Also reminds me of how much I miss a maple neck and some single coils.

  • Thank you @LinearLineman (you too!), @Wrlds2ndBstGeoshredr (Andy Latimer is one of my big influences!) and @Edward_Alexander (always wanted a Strat like this since I saw Eric Clapton and Dave Gilmore playing one back in the 70s but I didn’t manage to get one until my 60th birthday!)

  • Lovely Colin. Sometimes things pop out of PM that just force you to make a track 😀
Really enjoyed the guitar playing on this one and a great tune !
