Future Drummer is dead in AUM

I cannot get this ancient IAA drum app to work in AUM. It will load but refuses to make a sound. Anyone else experiencing this problem? Is there a workaround? I like a lot of the presets and would like to record them short of screen capture.

    It’s working fine here, 16.1. Did you make sure FD was running before loading in AUM?

    I have this kind of problems too with Lumbeat drummers. I have no real solution but what sometimes works is reboot the Ipad, and startup the Lumbeat drummer first, and then AUM and make the connection.

    But is is buggy, and sometimes sound disappearance after some time, or the connection is broken.

    Did you launch futuredrummer before launching AUM?

    Don't give up hope just yet. FD works smoothly in AUM here, provided I open it in standalone first like others have suggested. Same situation with all other Lumbeat drum apps (and most IAA apps).

    did you try rebooting your iOS device by powering it down and then back up?

    Just a guess, could sample rate setting be a problem, if reboot doesn't help?

    Make sure Ableton Link is enabled in Future Drummer and in AUM.

    Works well here iOS 16.4.1.
