Demo sounds great! And it’s physical modeling so that means you can push it into that weird experimental territory. Really excited for this. Was gonna get Twin3 tomorrow but it may have to wait with this and Noises coming out.
Yes it is good at being very weird too. Actually there are so great app released or coming ……
Yep! This is gonna end up being a huge year on iOS it seems.
Yeah, feels like we are truly transitioning to mobile now. More and more desktop developers are doing iOS. Perhaps they know Logic Pro is in route?
That would be great! There’s a supposedly “trust” rumor for 2025 but who knows? Definitely feels like a big transition though.
I think nobody know , appart very few internal people know , Apple is very tough to protect its projects , control freak. Some analysts only guess.
Wait and see. I don’t know anything about what Apple will release that only what I can say.even if I know some senior dev at Apple they will never tell me something about.
It wouldn’t necessarily be a game changer for me personally as I’m happy with what I have now, but for the right price I’d probably make the jump. I’m sure something like that will happen eventually but whether it’s apple and 2025 who knows.
I wasn’t really impressed with the raw sound on the demo but, once they started using some modulation and amp sims it started to get a lot better. To be honest though, a real clav sounds best with some kind of modulation/filter (phaser, wah, envelope) and then through a tube amp.
Here’s the studio rig for the next few days for all of you keyboard nerds…not mine
Boom! Straight from the horse’s mouth:
https://www.apple.com/newsroom/2023/05/apple-brings-final-cut-pro-and-logic-pro-to-ipad/
“Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro for iPad will be available on the App Store as subscriptions starting Tuesday, May 23.”
What a news …. and by subscriptions. …it will not please everyone…
At that price per month and per year, I think there’s no room for complaining.
No I should take it for sure and you certainly got all upgrades included . And minimal require recent A12 chip iOS 16,4 with my IPad Air 4 it is ok. Big question the size to download the pack as for Mac Of it is if I remenber over 100 GB.
👍🏼 My bad
I’ve been pretty happy with the Clav in Module - has all the pick-up and tone switch options plus the mute slider - bit this looks amazing. The wah sounds very authentic.
I presume this can be controlled with an external expression pedal??
One thing missing though…no mutron??
AudioDamage makes one that you could throw on there😉

I have a few already, just would have been nice to have had it in-app
Ahh, I got ya. That would be convenient.
Are there other Mutron clones on IOS? It’s a pretty specific phaser sound.
ToneStack Pro has one as does THU (both primarily guitar apps).
My favourite though one is Kai Aras Stereo Filter
God damn this rules. I was literally just thinking “I dunno if I can spring for Pianoteq license just to get clav and one other 😡”
Then this drops!! Not to mention they just dropped a free Vibes which was also very high on my list of wanting! Sweeeet.
Yeah, this clav sounds the business, great price and takes up very little space!
Yeah it’s great. Sounds better than the one in logic too. I think the Clav in Pianoteq is slightly better but for the price, this is great. And I’ve made some real gnarly sounds with it.
D6 is really good I get it and love to play it standalone just to relax.
I took way too long to get this. It’s the absolute funk
I like it a lot. I ended up buying the Hohner pack in Pianoteq which comes with a Clav so I don’t use it as often but I still use it a bit and it sounds great.
