Just a note, you can import a bank of 8 samples directly from the zip created when you export from koala sampler… I presume any zip file of 8 samples will work. You can then add pictures and dexcriptions. This is quicker than creating a custom bank in app.
Oh that’s great, I keep thinking that a trimmer and reordering function would be great but that’s a really nice workaround
Splendid stuff that @sevenape i just booted koala and trimmed down what was already in there; a set of off cuts from an instagram post I made a few days back of this old Hammond organ in my workshop that has bleeding VCA circuits, so when you turn the amp up loud you hear all the notes at once

Hey no worries thought it may be useful, makes creating banks more streamlined as you can preview in koala browser and edit and stuff )
Defo, is there a way to load the same zip files into koala? I was thinking it would be great to trim some of the samples in the banks I’ve made already…
Thanks for this @sevenape . As usual I can’t figure this shit out. I downloaded the Hilda zip, unzipped it, ……then what?
Don’t unzip it, just import it via the hamburger menu in the plugin
@Krupa tried to do that before I unzipped it but no joy. Can’t see a hamburger menu in Hilda (?)
They aren’t for Hilda 😄
D’oh!! They were made using Hilda, and the folder is called Hilda, but they’re for noises…..whoops.
As you were.
Thanks @Krupa 😂

Yeah, let’s get back to the real gold in this forum. Sharing sounds and getting creative. 👍
Here’s a couple of banks made from an old drum synth app called TweakyBeat https://apps.apple.com/ca/app/tweakybeat/id330051410
The first is straight up TweakyBeat sounds and the second is the same sounds resampled in AUM plus FX chains.

[Edit: Yeah, I like WOOTT…]
Here’s one with sounds from Hexaglyphics https://apps.apple.com/ca/app/hexaglyphics-noise-generator/id963852820
Add reverb.

Thank you grabbing now!!
Probably not in the same order but here’s a rebuilt one…

One more from me. Made using Elastic Drums https://www.dropbox.com/s/mxm557yvl8e5rjl/GG004 Elastic Drums.zip?dl=0
Thanks guys!!
These look like a lot of fun to play with. As soon as I’m finally able to actually get the app I’ll get some banks made with my modular synth and preamps
Has anyone figured out how this decides how long the samples will be? I load 8 samples of approximately the same length and some are heavily clipped to 1-2 seconds
Anyone tried different drum loops? Curious if loops stay in sync with each other when ‘trip’ sweeps through the different loops
also wondering about this. i tried with 6-12 sec samples and after import none are more 4 seconds long, & one is only 2. oddly, some shortened samples start in the middle of the longer original. this makes imported samples unuseable for me. any idea what's up folks? is anyone successful importing longer samples?
I had this happen with one sample, but just tried to import 2 banks without issue. I used the Koala technique in standalone. Maybe importing inside aum is glitching out? The way I do it is load up 8 samples in Koala, export all samples from there (I choose edited samples from the choice) and import into noises standalone from the zip that was created
this solved the problem
Ah nice find!
I created a Noise bank. Radio noise.

Brilliant thank you!
Love making and downloading Noise banks. Have d/l all on this thread! Thanks to all. My only issue is when there are a lot of banks the dropdown for banks is difficult to navigate. Otherwise great app!
Another bank for Noises, this one various electronic sounds.
