Samu, honestly, haven’t we already all the tools present on the iOS/iPadOS platform to make great music into Logic Pro for iPad?

    We do!

I'm not worried at all, heck I've got more plug-ins for my iPad than I've ever had for my Mac :sunglasses:
On top of that my 11" M1 iPadPro beats the living crap out of my i5 MacMini when it comes to pure performance.

This is also a reminder of that it's not really the tools that define a real 'Pro' even though some seem to think so...
...it's easier to brag and get clients by exposing the tools first which is quite evident considering the sh*tty quality of todays mainstream music...

  • It’s not only the solution to our problems. It is also the answer that scientist struggle with and people like Elon Musk and Neill dEgrassi Tyson are talking about: We live in a simulation. If you look at one of the Logic Pro for iPad screenshots long enough, you’ll see the following sentence floating in your view: YOU ARE IN A SIMULATION.

Is that 8 or 16gb ipad?

Think I should have bought an air 5 now.

There were just things I couldnt get an answer for.

Like how much ram do you actually get now in 2023 etc.

Then read a coment about virtual memory switching might be bad for other components? but it just a random comment.

    Maybe not.

but some people getting black screens etc.

I chose the more sluggish, ipad 9 to work in combo with other ipads.

Still a better ipad would have made a better main ipad.

I’ve noticed since the announcement of Logic Pro absolutely nothing bad in the world has happened so I’d say yes, it’s our key to utopia.

Too coincidental to be anything else.

Ipad 9 should be able to deal with synths id need, without the rest of logic being bloatware?

    Then same ipad mixing audio?

Hope logic can be setup with audio4c well. Even if combining hosts.

At the mo and not relevant a la logic.

Is things like sidechaining across devices.

and creating busses across ipads to just get a filter on drum track ( not bass etc ) Its cool to get an idea etc.

Plus audio monitoring of some aum ( because aum has mapping for more than 16 parameters etc )

Oh yeh, it’s very subtle, but just about faintly visible, now you mention it. Can’t believe I didn’t see this earlier.

  • How many more days do we have? 12 is it?

Days are such an archaic way to measure time. Better to measure it in terms of Logic Pro thread creations.

Exactly. Those fools in congress should’ve been developers.

No cos it still won’t get me the Airwindows plug-ins on iOS

And that's hardly Logic's fault so it's time to start nagging at the Plug-In developers to port their sh*t over or something :sunglasses:

I wasn’t blaming Logic for it but to answer the poll question, it won’t solve all my problems for that reason. I should definitely start pestering Chris to consider it though

I’ve heard that the Analog Obsession plug-ins will eventually make it but no eta yet.
Never really got into the Air Windows plug-ins as it’s a way different way of mixing from what I’ve understood.

The Analog Obsession stuff would be cool, there’s a few gems in that collection. Yeah the console setup for Airwindows takes full on dedication and can be a bit of a pain to set up until I got some templates made but there are quite a few really nice processing plug-ins like some distortions/saturations etc and bit crushing effects that I really like using as well
