LP vs LPX. Let the battle commence.
LOL! 🤣🤣🤣 I'm just having a blast this morning.
And yes, Logic Pro doesn't have that customisable performance interface that LP has.
Definitely LP is Loopy Pro. I was so confused in the Logic thread that people kept mentioning Loopy Pro over and over again, when the thread was about Logic.
Do we need a “LP is coming to desktop!1!” thread to really confuse things?
LP goes back to this...
...back in 1948. The first "LP".
Haha
I've already got LP on desktop
I have some LPs I want to sample into LP, then remix and master in LP. 🤭
Wow! Beta tester?
Strangely no. When I bought LP when it first come out it was also available on Mac M1 and then Micheal realised that was an error as he's still working on the desktop version and he disabled it but by then I already had it.
The iOS version was never supposed to be available on the Mac.
The MacOS version is a huge development effort.
It was working reasonably well before it was disabled.
It was not supposed to be available. It was an App Store glitch that allowed that to happen.
Making it available on the App Store for Mac use would adversely affect the income from the in-development Mac version in the long run.
Up until now it was ‘pro devices, no pro apps around’ now it’s ‘pro apps, no pros around’
Hopefully we'll find out soon. I hope it does make it to Mac M1.
Mac development has been ongoing and is a major priority.
That's good to know. Thanks.
