Multitrack recorder with hardware MIDI sync IN?

The title says most of it. I’m looking for an app for quickly recording from hardware.

The catch is, I want it to take MIDI start/stop transport from the hardware. Eg I arm a track in the app, then press play on the connected Digitone. The app records in sync.

Lots of apps do it the other way. Drambo and Loopy Pro do this, but I want simple timeline recordings.

Any ideas? Apart from “wait for Logic Pro”? :)

You can make simple timeline recordings like this in Loopy Pro.

  • Aren’t those just loops triggered on a timeline though? Maybe I should look into that…

Clips are just recordings. They can be any length and don’t have to loop.

    Also nice, but probably overkill!
