My best Burial impersonation

I love the Burial record Untrue. For years I’ve tried to make a track that sounded like the tunes on that record.

This, I think, is the closest I ever came.

  • Cool stuff. It reminds me of something else as well as burial but I can't put my finger on it.

  • This is great! What apps did you use?

  • Nice sounds and atmosphere. It could also drift into michael j blood territory with the chords used. I’d say keep developing it but that may not be the point. Good work.

  • Its quite a challenge making a Burial sound. Great sounding track!

  • This is some heat🔥🔥🔥

  • Very cool. Its's both relaxing and warm feeling but at the same time unsettling with those uneven dubstep drums.

Off to listen to some Burial now.
Not a genre I was thinking about today, but that's why I like coming here.

Dusty ! A very accomplished piece. I really, really like it.

Definitely hear the Burial influence, also reminds me of Tricky, circa Maxinquaye.

@gregsmith - I wish I knew! I made this awhile ago and I seem to have lost the session.🤨

@Svetlovska - Yes! Tricky! The dub thing! To me, it all goes back to Blue Lines.
