Copy bars in Patterning 2
I am new to Patterning 2. It’s quite a good drum machine, but I am seeing the default pattern starts at 1 bar. Is there a way to duplicate the 1 bar to make it 2 or 4 bars ? Thanks

The manual explains it pretty well.
You don't really work with longer patterns so much usually as with stringing together patterns and variations on them. Check the song editor. You can very easily switch back and forth between song and pattern mode as you move along.
I hope that helps.
I prefer Drum Computer but I have to admit that the fun factor and easy to use factor of Patterning is very high. Many people love this app for a reason.
You can increase the number of steps in a pattern, then hit Apply to All at the bottom. But that just adds empty steps, doesn't copy what you have in the pattern to begin with.
If you're wondering why Patterning isn't a little more straightforward, such as just doubling the size of the pattern and copying the contents into it, it is because each individual ring in the pattern can have a different number of steps. Extending a pattern in that case isn't as straightforward as just doubling the length.
Thank you all! I appreciate the fast reply and quick help. This drum sequencer is very cool!
Yes, that makes sense..Great for polyrhythms though!
