Riffler crashes? Also, Riffler saved settings?
I didn't see anyone else reporting these issues, so I'm posting to see if I'm really the only one dealing with them...
I have never had an app crash as much as the latest version of Riffler is crashing on me. Stand-alone or in AUM, if you hit the Random button too often it will crash. Hit the Create Riff button too often it will crash. Earlier versions of Riffler were not this twitchy.
Crashes always clear out all the options you picked in the settings.
Also, everything in the Lock Parameters section doesn't persist, even if you close the app normally.
I'm using the latest version of Riffler on a 9th gen iPad running 16.4.1

What bpm are you running at @bill_suspect ?
It’s solid for me at 40 bpm or above but crashes straight away at < 40.
BPM of less than 40 are not supported by Riffler anyway.
All my tempos range from 70bpm to 120bpm.
OK, Are there any specific options you are selecting or setting so I could try and reproduce the problem?
In stand-alone, I can make it crash by simply hitting the Random button once every 30 seconds (generate a riff, listen to it once or twice, generate a new riff). After generating 5 to 10 riffs, it crashes and closes the window. Nothing special selected in the options. In AUM, the same usage seems to not crash it as often, but it does happen.
The settings clearing issue is the same in stand-alone and in AUM.
Yes, just had a crash in stand alone… just randomly pressing the Random button repeatedly so fairly easy to reproduce…
@jon_bell drops in every now and again so may see this but you could email him with the details and I’m sure he’ll fix it.
I did email [email protected] earlier this month, but I got a Message Not Delivered bounceback. I also DM'ed him via instagram, but never got a reply.
I'm sure he's a busy dude. Hopefully fixing bugs.
