The Logic(al) Song...er Rap!
With all the fuss going on about Logic Pro coming to the iPad and the development of AI, I decided to do a rap about it! (well create a rap using an app called AI Rap Generator - yes really!). I asked it to write a rap about Logic Pro coming to the iPad and it did! Since there appeared to be no way to save it, I screen recorded it and then extracted the vocal and imported it into Logic Pro (on my Mac). Then I chopped it up to adjust the phrasing and tempo and added a couple of Logic Pro Beatbox and hip hop keyboard loops.
I don't think this AI will replace any real rappers just yet but it was a good bit of fun!
(Note to self and potential Logic Pro users - make sure you don't have the metronome click running when exporting, like I did! I left it though because it kind of works for this)

Well, it’s a lot better rapping than I can do. I feel sorry for young people, though, to have to live in a world where, more and more, you can’t tell what’s real or not. When a soulless program starts giving you advice about what shit is, well, it’s getting kind of scary… and sad.
Makes me think of Soylent Green… what we are really getting fed.
I know this was just a fun experiment but what can creators claim for themselves as art as art production becomes more and more like scrapbooking.
Thanks, @ReneAsologuitar and @LinearLineman . I am not actually a big fan of rap music but since the AI Rap Generator app was free I thought I would see what it could do. I was quite impressed but I agree the time is almost here, if not already here, where it will be extremely difficult to tell what has been created by humans and what has been created by AI. I share your concern about the future too, for all kinds of arts and media.
Think that’s the most I’ve enjoyed a rap song… perhaps the 1:07 running time helped 😊 but impressive work nonetheless 👍

Thanks @BerlinFx . I did have to chop and manually move some phrases to fit the beat I made but I was impressed with the words the app came up with.
