Doug and Jo Woods are volunteer moderators. Michael Tyson "runs" the forum in the sense that he is the owner, ultimate sysadmin, and sole provider - all at his own amazingly generous expense.

Recent Discussions is the default landing place with the URL https://forum.audiob.us. You can always bookmark of the links from any category you would like to get to a particular topic directly.

If you're asking which category is the default for new posts - The default is whatever category you're in at the time you hit the New Discussion button. If you're in Recent Discussions when you start a discussion, you have to pick one at the time you create the post.

This reminds me. I wonder if it would be possible for this site to create a donations and/or subscription option for supporters? I can’t even imagine how much time and expense this site has cost Mike. And for people who may not yet own Mike’s apps, this could be a way to help shave off some of these costs. I dunno… just throwing it out there for discussion.

  • Far out donations sounds good. Sub is a bad word even if it is the right thing to do unless its like $2 a month. That seems to be how podcasts roll like Dan Carlin with his shows at $2 each

I agree with this 100%. I wouldn't mind subbing for $5/month, but also having a one-time donation option is also good. That way we can donate with whatever method works better for each individual. :)

@thesoundtestroom Doug, do you think you could forward a suggestion to Mike about this? This site has value for people and we would like to keep it going.
