Sounds Problem with Ravenscroft and VTines inside Cubasis 3 iOS 16.5

IPad Air 4
iOS 16.5

All apps works fine inside Cubasis 3 except for Ravenscroft Piano and Vtines.

The sound swell a lot

Anyone else?

Not sure if it's Cubasis or the app or iOS 16.5 or something else.

  • What do you mean by « swell »? Ravenscroft works well here with 16.5 on M1 iPad.

  • didja try a reboot?

Swell = extremely long attack curve
The maximum volume of a slow attack like a piano in less than 1 sec and now it's like someone is playing with my volume.

    Yes. No success.

  • It will probably change nothing, but I'm updating the firmware of my Motu M2.

  • Any issue on iPad speakers?

I wonder if it could be sample-rate related.

After 3 reboot, my session is now working properly.

I had VTines on track 7 and Raverscroft of track 8 and now after 3 reboot, I can control theses instruments.

I hope it was just a backluck.

I had a session with 8 tracks. Geoshred was working perfectly, Drum Computer, etc.. It was just these 2 tracks (7 and 8).
1 time Ravenscroft got red. So I removed the app, try a Moog synth. The Moog synth was working on this track 8. All was working perfectly. I re-uploaded Ravenscroft on the same track 8 and the sounds was problematic. again. I closed the app. Reboot 2 time and bouya, now it works again.

  • I found the source of the problem, but I'm not sure why.

The source was the settings of my Linnstrument. When I turned off some MPE setting like loudness the app was working normally. But Ravenscroft is not MPE. Not sure why the sound was swelling.

Maybe the Linnstrument had some mapping to MIDI CC 7? That usually controls volume and I believe it's hardcoded in Ravenscroft

Not sure if it's the answer, but it makes sense.
