Galileo organ updated (v. 2.0)
Galileo 2.0 introduces a series of user-experience features, and also incorporates audio system updates to ensure out-of-the-box compatibility with the upcoming iOS 8.
• Fullscreen controls mode: use the new "FULL SCN" button on the top menu bar to switch to a full screen layout of all organ controls. Browse secondary screens on the bottom-most screen area
• Galileo now works as an IAA effect
• Galileo now can be added in Audiobus output slot
• Latest Audiobus SDK (iOS 8 compatible) and state-saving
• Lots of other improvements

Oh, full screen controls is a wonderful idea.
It's really great that Galileo can be in the output slot for those that would like to use it there but for the rest of us, it just serves to make our output list slow to navigate. We could really use filtering on the lists. Think there was a hope that state saving would make it less of an issue but it's still a beast (and the states list is becoming its own beast!). I use 5-6 apps in the output ever. Similar for the filter slow—a gajillion apps, 5-10 that I ever use in that slot. @sebastian can we start talking about it again yet?![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
^Agreed.
The price of great popularity is an increasing need to filter.
I agree.... i would love to have a full browser here (with kind of tags).
Galileo rotary effect can be used as an IAA effect, awesome!!!!
Looking forward to using IAA as an effect - great improvement!
Here's a test I did using Galileo as an effect on guitar. I recorded the guitar track in Multitrackstudio with a new Galileo patch about every 40 seconds (they get weirder as the song progresses). The clips are as follows:
1. Dry (no effect)
2. "hands"
3. "blinded"
4, "carnival of souls"
5. "palladium"
6. " I'll be Bach"
7. "oh wah"
8. "circuits burnt"
9. "wahhhshington"
In all cases the guitar was run through Ampkit+ and the same LPF and HPF filter was used along with an EQ cutting out a notch at 3.6 KHz.
Thanks for bothering to do this. Really like the first wah.
Some great effects, "oh wah" was my fav too.
You've done Randy proud. \m/
If you listen through headphones you'll hear the rotary in full effect on some of the patches. The swirly panning thing is not an "every day" kind of effect but could be really cool if used in small doses. My personal favorite is the "palladium" patch - it gives an organy sound to the guitar and beefs up the tone in a way that could be used more regularly. BTW I put Galileo after Ampkit in the effects chain.
I think "Palladium" is my favorite of the batch as well. I listened last night with headphones, so the swirl was in full effect.
Because of these clips, I put on Ozzy's "Tribute" album when I was done.![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
