Critters (Drone Day 2023)
@Paulieworld let his Seaquence critters out of their tank a few days ago so I thought I’d let mine out for their annual holiday.
It happened to coincided with Drone Day 2023 so they were very happy.
They are playing everything here through an AUM setup that is shown towards the end of the video.

Nice keel inspiring
This is thoroughly beautiful! I’m going to have to add Seaquence to my “wants” list.
Super cool! I forgot how much fun Seaquence could be. I am hearing something to accompany this. Maybe something from Alexander Scriabin or similar. He was so ahead of his time. Great mustache, too. Really nice track!
Also, I’m not familiar with Drone Day. Is that a UK thing like Red Nose Day?
Many thanks @BerlinFx , @bygjohn (it’s stand alone unfortunately and not being actively developed but it’s fun and cheap) and @Paulieworld (the moustache reference lost me for a while but I see what you mean now 🥸)
Drone day appears to be of Canadian origin. Website is here https://droneday.org )
Lovely stuff Tony - you just made me realise that I have this app but had completely forgotten about it!
Brief check confirms that it is one of those apps from the halcyon days of iOS experimentation. As I’ve said elsewhere, I hope - maybe it’s unrealistic - but I hope that niche indie iOS devs will be forced into making interesting experimental apps like this to compete - and do one better - than the hardware / desktop plugin emulations that are piling into the appstore at a rate of knots.
Loved this. Thanks for sharing.
Great stuff Tony (and Paulie). I have now spent hours with this, also for me, forgotten app.
Not only is it fun, it can do some surprisingly advanced stuff as well. If it weren't for the fact that is so fucking stupid: we could form a team: Team Seasick! 🐋 🐟 🦑 🦈
🤣🤣🤣
Great use of a fascinating, quirky thing. A sense of distant, drowned voices, vast voids, darkness… Lovely. I’ve got Seaquence too, also forgot about it. Gonna have to dig it out now! Thanks
