[Logic Pro] Dumb question about audio routing.
I have a question. I'm learning about aux sends (and mixing in general) in Logic Pro. The aux sends are good for sending to a master reverb, but I haven't seen or found out how to actually route audio to a buss (such as a drum buss), or instruments to an instrument buss (where it doesn't actually make the sound louder via aux send). Is there a way to group tracks where I can apply effects to, say, a drum section as a whole?

Use the multi select button to select the tracks you want in the bus. Then turn the multi select off and tap on one of the tracks. In the menu that pops up, do Create Summing Stack. This will create a new top level folder track, and you can apply FX there.
Oh that's cool! It's like in NS2 where you stack tracks into a buss! Thanks,

E are at the same point 😂 hat I understand as a way is to group some drums or instruments in a region part and to send it to fx . Still struggling
Good man! This definitely is the best explanation, and I don't know how I missed it. Okay, maybe I have an inkling that I accidentally overlooked it amongst the flood of other Logic Pro threads. 😂
Okay, so the summing stack is what I want for adding overall effects to a mix. All good.
Now how to I stop the faders from all moving together at once? In NS2 when I create such routing, all the faders still move independently from one another. I'm not sure how to turn this behaviour off in Logic Pro.
They only move together at once if you have them all selected in the mixer view. Or if you’ve assigned them to a group.
Just turn off multi select mode in the mixer and select a single channel. They should all be independent now.
Am I really that thick? 😂 Oh my goodness lol!
