Unable to send MIDI from AUM to M-Audio Midisport Uno
I have a new problem, not likely related to iPadOS 16.5. I have it on an iPad Air 5 and I can't send MIDI from AUM to M-Audio Midisport Uno, which I use to connect older hardware. The AUM sees the Uno, but the Uno does not respond (the LED does not blink) and does not pass the signal on. On the Pro 2020 (16.4.1) it works flawlessly, and on the iPad (16.1) it does not work! I care most about the Air, but I do not know what to do next?
Greetings.
P.S. I posted this to the AUM group too, but I think not everyone here and there read both discussion sites simultaneously.

I think the midisport needs a driver. Only midi devices that do not need a special driver will work on iPad.
I use a Midisport 2x2, fully class compliant, no drivers required
iPad Pro 11” M1, iOS 16.5
@Alfred , the midisport Uno is class compliant too
Could it be a power issue? Maybe try plugging the Uno into a powered hub?
Thanks for the answers. So far, I'm dead tired after playing an upright piano in very bad condition in a trio. I need to sleep on it and will look for a solution tomorrow based on your answers for which I thank you very much.
