Yeah was thinking that, maybe they'll put camera on both ends next.
there are rumours about specuall vission pro accessory ..
And this is what revision 2 of Apple Vision Pro will look like...
I also heard that Apple Glasses could also coming as a separate product, I guess more like a Google Glass AR type of thing in the same utilitarian fashion accessory as Apple Watch....
There's a good interview with Mark Zuckerberg on Lex Fridman this week. There are some good insights into his view.
He is into open source which is good.
I think he makes the mistake in thinking that these types of devices will eventually "replace" physical screens, even if/when they become ultra lightweight, in contact lenses etc. Because people like using analogue devices as well.
Old technology brings a different type of experience as well as the new and as a species we like diversity. So they won't disappear, it just means there will be more choice. As usual, these types of people make the error of thinking that it must be one thing or another, often the mistake in a lot of sci fi literature/films too.
I wouldn’t hold my breath on that. The fact that they’re releasing a headset and not a pair of glasses now suggests to me that either (a) they view the ability to fully immerse as a fundamental part of the experience, which you can’t achieve with a glasses form factor; or (b) they are sufficiently far away from being able to offer this experience in a glasses form factor that it’s a better business move to release something different from what they originally intended and start building a customer base/recouping the massive R&D costs.
Personally, my feeling on the initial release announcement was "huh, OK," but the more I hear about the experience from people who’ve tried it at WWDC, watch Apple’s developer content, and think about how I might put it to use, the more I can see this fitting into my life as my primary computing platform. (Important caveat: my primary computing platform, not everyone’s. I’ve never owned a personal laptop, and I’ve been using the iPad as my main personal device daily since the first one was available.) It might make a nice 50th birthday present to myself next year.
What was name of this TV show ? It was about aliens landing on earth and cooperating with humans. I found her as pretty damn hot milf back then as kid 🤣🤣🤣
V as in Visitors...
Everything is cool about the series even the cheesy music LOL.
This awkward series was named "V"...
Yeah Vision Pro is definitely aimed at primary computer use since there is a desktop PC in there, which is why I can see there's a space for a glasses accessory device which is like Apple Watch and could serve as using some more simpler apps and experiences. I can see it happening as they shrink down and fix the bugs in the OS. This is like the desktop version of Vision, so I think more mobile versions will come in smaller form factors.
very awkward .. i watched it mostly just because of her 🤣🤣🤣
Lol, another Jane Badler fan, no worries as there were a lot of us back then haha
