Logic pro not recording first midi note.

Anyone else having an issue when they try to record any midi. I’ll see it show up as I’m recording it but then, as soon as I press the record button to stop, it disappears.

Any idea what’s going on?

Sometimes I can see it and pull it back over from the left side but most of the time it shows up for a second until I press record again, and then it just completely disappears

Other than this and the shitty browser, it’s awesome.

    yeah i’ve seen this a few times.. i just resort to drawing the missed note in by hand

    I'd suggest enabling default quantize for midi regions...
    ...the quantize is non-destructive so you can always pull it back if/when needed.

    I have also seen this happen. My hunch is that something odd is going on in their count-in, because I've only seen it happen when count-in is enabled.

    I thought (so far) I hit the first note too early, because the note is there in the piano roll and if I move it to the right slightly (snapped to the grid) then it sounds as it should.

    When this happens, open the inspector and switch on quantisation, 1/8 or 1/16 will probably bring back you missing note

    yes, that's what I've seem as well. Easy enough edit, but didn't get this as often with GB IOS.

    Will try the quantisation as well
