The title was prophetic.
This is one of your most restrained improvisations, IMHO.
This could very well be a soundtrack for film noir. Doesn't even sound improvised really.
Can only agree with McD and Jwm 🙏
Improvised, yes. But it’s probably been in your head for years waiting for the right time. The chord change at 2:36 was magical. I rewound that one a few times too. I’m taking notes.
That one is dark. Hope you're doing okay.
Is that good?
Thx @GeoTony @jwmmakerofmusic @Paulieworld me, too, love that chord. No clue how it happened.
@Wrlds2ndBstGeoshredr life is actually very good these days. Thanks for thinking of me, bro.
Glad to hear it. Sometimes one needs to embrace the nothingness and transmute it into beauty.
Don't neglect to post more creations.
Love it Mike!
I think my favorite thing about it is that you make no mention of what instruments you used; only that it was created “entirely on the iOS (you meant iPadOS) platform using an iPad Pro”.
No BS about sampled pianos versus modeled pianos, and what sounds better blah blah blah… as a wise someone once said, it’s not about the instrument, but about the notes you play (paraphrased)
I think @Edward_Alexander summed it up pretty well. As Maria Muldaur once opined… It ain’t the meat, it’s the motion.
@Wrlds2ndBstGeoshredr actually, unexpectedly and miraculously, I’ve found someone new. My late wife and I talked about my life going forward going forward without her and she wanted me to go for love again. I just didn’t expect it to happen so fast!
Thx, @Stochastically. You know I’ll keep on.
@Edward_Alexander i agree. Using stuff to its best advantage rather than complaining is an important aspect of artistry.
That is amazing and wonderful. I have been married for 33 years and cannot even conceive of doing it again. I am very happy for you.
