I do appreciate your love for the music, these people leave a mark, that’s why they’re still alive in our memories and we’re talking about it
She was the best, wonderful unpolished and dreamy voice. I grew up with her music as my mother is a big fan of her and Bossa Nova.
Ah….tragic. The old Bossa vanguard will soon enough all be gone. Her husband was so important for the sound of Bossa Nova but her English version of The Girl From Ipanema was arguably responsible for how big Bossa Nova became in the west.
