Wired - Best IPad Accessories - What’s your favorites?

edited June 2023 in Other

Wired had an article in Apple News with some of the best accessories you can get for the iPad. It had a few I wasn’t aware of… which made me wonder what would be some of the the forum members favorite iOS accessories? im not talking as much about midi keyboards, and hardware, unless it’s something made to specifically work with iPad/iOS, like those Samsung external drives with lightning attachment. more like tools, cases, pens/stylus, stands, accessories, cool gadgets, powerbanks, etc…

Mine would probably be the Microsoft BT Mouse, Logitech Crayon, CCK, and a simple but small BT keyboard, SSD/external hd. Lamicall stand I use all the time. Powered usb hub.

You can be broad or specific. I hope to uncover some cool accessory I haven’t heard of quite yet… cheers!

  • I wrapped by iPad Pro with:

an Apple Smart Keyboard (and stopped reaching for my MacBook completely)

A Anker Multi-function hub (to have a decent headphone jack with D-to-A chip and USB-C power port - I went with a 100W adapter to drive all the USB-A devices I have around)

A added an Anker USB-A to Lightning female to be able to use my Sennheiser Smart Headset that I use on my iPhone and tend to have in my ears most of the day

An Apple Pencil 2 that is required for Staffpad note entry

    Arturia Mini-Lab MIDI keyboard

Beyer Dynamic DT770 Headphones always connected to the Anker Multi-function Hub. I find myself putting them right over the Sennheiser Smart Headset just to watch some random YouTube video or a SoundCloud tune posted here.

    A Levusu Bluetooth MIDI keyboard
