The Journey (Solo, Nucleus, Omnisphere, ZebraHZ, Alchemy )

This is a music track that I improvised on two MIDI keyboards connected to Bitwig Studio on a desktop PC. There the MIDI was routed to Solo for the flute and violin, Nucleus for the English horn, and Omnisphere, ZebraHZ, and Alchemy for the background instruments.

After bringing the audio recording into Vegas Pro, I applied the Lurssen Mastering Console plug-in to the audio mix.

It's titled The Journey.

  • I hope we see instruments of this quality migrate over to the ipad. They are so naturalistic unlike most of the “uncanny valley” ersatz instruments we get in the big multi-sampler products.

  • I didn't know I wasn't subscribed to you yet David. This is a beautiful piece of music. So calming and serene. It was the right length too. Not too short that is. I hope to hear more from you soon. :)

I think @VirSyn 's XinematiX would fit the bill quite nicely. :) But for me, money isn't exactly the issue. I could work on building the collection over time. It's iPad space that is the issue, lol.

  • Indeed, very good sounds.

  • Thanks, @McD, @jwmmakerofmusic, and @LinearLineman. Much appreciated.

  • Lovely flute sound on this, you never disappoint 👌

  • Thanks, @GeoTony. Glad you like it. I keep coming back to the flute, as it seems so expressive.
