Beginner iOS audio streaming question
Hi everyone - I'm researching feasibility on a particular karaoke-type app - one hurdle whether it's possible to tap into the audio stream that Apple Music is sending - anyone know if this is possible?
Thanks!

If it’s generated within Audiobus, AUM or similar, yes. Direct from iOS, not so much.
Is it possible to use Apple Music with Audiobus?
Not just by software. The audio output of apps that don't have IAA is not available to other apps. You would need to loopback the audio via an interface.
And by interface - you mean something external to the mobile device, right? Essentially some other piece of hardware?
Maybe using MusicKit? https://developer.apple.com/musickit/
MusicKit looks interesting, and for my use case I'd be fine building a Media Player app to query and play music from the user's Apple Music Library (which is all possible using Media Player from MusicKit) - however I still don't think I can get lower-level access to the audio stream. I want to be able to tap into the audio stream that's being played (for purposes of gleaning pitch, beats, etc).
