Gaining inputs.
Can I output from an ipad headphone out. With a ts cable. Then duplicate inputs in Drambo. Set gain level. Pan each channel left and right.
So I can use pans from the sender ipad?
Comments
Input to what? To the headphone jack? If so then the answer is no. There is only a mono input on a headphone/mic jack.
Input to an interface with a stereo input? As long as Drambo can see the stereo input you can pan the stereo image. Usually if it can see the stereo input then it can also see separate R and L inputs so that you could pan the channels separately. What you can do depends on the interface.
Cooool.
Audio4c.
Instead of headphone out single to dual stereo, from ipad to audio4c.
A mono ts cable.
Id duplicate input 2 from interface list. Then set and leave gains and pans. There might be phasing?
So the sender ipad can send tweakable volumes and pans?
Or just instead add mic when needed and either lose pans until Iv got mic recording.
Using a temp ts mono cable or just unplug an l or r of the stereo cable. So it would be temp panned, until I get a mic recording?
Kind of want mic plugged in but not if duplicating a mono to make stereo isnt good.
I'm afraid ya lost me there friend. 😵💫
I'm sure you'll answer your own question as usual after four or five more posts though. 😂
The sender ipad would just be audio stems sent from another ipad and just triggered and also koalas triggered and koala has pan per sample.
I may or may not master record a song with the headphone to audio4c or just move stems. So it bypasses hiss.
but wouldnt be able to use this ipad for live. With a mic added. Without losing pan.
A headphone out of ipad to input 2 of audio4c. With a mono instead of a stereo l and r cable.
Duplicate the inputs in Drambo.
Then pan an input left and the duplicate right.
So the sender ipad you can use koala pans per sample with might be l or r depending on the sample.
Thanks wim.
I blew a rega speaker cone with laptop headphone out to amp line in.
But the laptop had crackling output.
This must have been amplified and blew the cone.
Wouldnt be the case with a mono ipad output to audio4c.
