Big brother of the free app. Looks interesting. Adds a couple of filters and EQ.

  • The UI reminds me of Caustic 3. Same font I think. Man I miss Caustic.

Surprisingly I never owned Caustic but had a close friend that did and played his a bit. It seems fantastic! Would love to see that get an update.

Actually was the OG caustic on Android? I feel like it was because watching demos it looks real familiar.

For this app, the free one is amazing so I’m highly tempted. Trying to decide it it offers enough though.

The OG Caustic was on Android! When I used to use Android phones, it was the only decent music app on Android back 10 years or so ago. :) And if I ever do get another Android device, it'd simply be for Caustic 3. 😂

Regarding the app, idk if I'd need a channel strip plugin as I have TheStrip by DDMF.

No reason to miss it, it still perfectly works ;)

  • I did like the light version, I may end up getting this to try out and hear the compressor cos the tube emulation is pretty nice

Lemme know if you end up getting/liking it. I’m interested as well but undecided.

Ha! Haven’t looked at Caustic for ages, but, really surprised when I today opened it, and it works the same as for six seven years ago…

    Pretty advanced too!
This programmer know what he did back to 2013, and when Caustic running this well on M1 cpu and iPadOS 17 is a miracle!

To many others of the music app out on Appstore suffers a lot with new hardware and OS upgrades…

  • I really like the LE version so I’m definitely interested in this one!

Would love your thoughts if you get it. I’m a fan of the LE version as well but can’t decide if I need to spend $13 on the extra compressor and filter. Looks great though.

  • Can anyone that bought this app recommend it for others?
I wonder how this compares to ChStrip by Ryu Togawa?
I can’t decide on which to buy. Seems like the only differences are -
    ChStrip has a soft clipper
Channel Strip Pro has tube saturation and an oscilloscope.

I have the free, not the pro version, but I find it to be a bit more gritty than the Ryo app but the Ryo app is very good for the price and is probably my favorite channel strip that I own.
