Weird Timing issues in Logic Pro, anyone else seeing this?
I’m getting strange timing issues when using various AUV3 midi apps inside Logic Pro. With Chordjam putting out a simple 4 Chord Loop it quickly goes out of sink when I record the midi to the timeline and I’m seeing the same thing when using Scaler 2. If I run either app in AUM and record the midi inside Logic Pro the timing is correct. Using Ableton link doesn’t make any difference whether it’s on or not. Am I missing a setting somewhere in Logic Pro?
Comments
I should add that I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled Logic Pro to no effect.
Try setting logic to 44.1. That solves scaler timing issues. But it’s something devs need to address.
The Scaler devs are aware and working on it…
It seems it may be an issue with midi fx in Logic above 44.1 more broadly…
That’s what it is, thanks to you both for solving my head-scratcher.
That’s what iOS music buds are for!
