  • That's cool. Lots of good stuff in there. Wonder what the subscription rate will be - desktop is $15/month. I would love to see spitfire add their labs engine to the iPad.

  • Nice! I’ve been hoping something like this would come to iOS.

Absolutely. Really want Spitfire and more of the UVI stuff on ios.

  • That will be awesome, when combined with Logic

  • The floodgates are open?

  • $15/month? Not bad at all for all that you get. And Billie Eilish and Timbaland use it, and I love the way their productions sound. :)

interesting , $15/month is a bit expensive but it seems they offer unlimited access to their library

$15/month is a little pricey, but yeah, full access to their library. :) Exciting times!

  • Yikes! It was $10 per month just a few months ago! It won’t be more than that for iPad I don’t think.

I predict Universal access. $15 a month gets you desktop and mobile access. I feel like this is a way for Output to increase subscribers and offer more to their current subscribers. I know this may sound obvious, but I truly feel these “high end” developers see mobile as just extending their reach like Modartt.

  • I really loved this, but the subscription is pretty steep. I canceled a while back.

I did too, particularly for how I like to build up sketches and revisit them much later. I hated the idea of having to stay subbed in case X track I loaded back up used it. My approach now will just be to sub for a month at a time committing everything straight to audio via Endlesss during those months and only subbing when I have extra time.

Oh so you lose all your sounds if you don’t sub every month then? That’s kind of a bummer.

I seem to recall that was the way. They were romplers and if I wasn't subbed the rompler simply wouldn't work. Same thing happened with the East West Sounds composer cloud and I did a TON of bouncing out from that back in the day; frustrating though when I missed a couple tracks and reloaded the tune only to find missing bits. But yah now that I think about it maybe I will give that one another run too in Endlesss land.

  • Yep. I was a member for a while. They have a pretty diverse library of sounds. You do lose all content when your sun expires, however you can obviously bounce down your tracks beforehand.

I guess bouncing stuff to audio will be fine as a workaround but imo, if you pay the sub for 6 months and skip one month due to financial hardship, losing your samples is kinda lame. Especially if you plan on paying again next month. Maybe the can implement something when it comes to iOS.

They aren't just samples though, like from sounds.com, some of the romplers have some pretty sweet processing and such so it makes sense to me.

Gotcha. Not having a desktop I’m not in tune with all the big sample/loop providers. That’s one reason this excites me. We have Coso/Splice now but I’m not sure how I feel about it yet.

  • I wonder if the iOS app will be only for samples , without the samplers/instruments etc in a lower price

I doubt it. I predict that you will log into the app using your Output ID.

I wish they’d bring Exhale to iOS. I’ll bet @thesoundtestroom does, too. I love it on desktop.

  • @johnfromberkeley Now Exhale would be cool.
Output is really very very good too, I use to subscribe to that.

  • From what I was told, it’s something totally new
