Regarding iOS 16 and Auditor

Due to the nature of my current workload it's been extremely difficult if not near impossible to keep up to date with my iOS apps.

Recently I had an opportunity to spend some time on LayR but today I've discovered a bug in Auditor (or iOS not sure which yet) that has surfaced with iOS 16.

Luckily there is a workaround!

If you find Auditor does not start when you press the start buttons go to the "I/O" menu in auditor and enable "Input" by sliding the switch to the right. Quit Auditor and the next time you launch it should work ok.

I will attempt to make time to get a fix out for this issue ( and a couple of other more minor issues on the TODO list) asap !

    Thanks for the heads up. I use Auditor on a regular basis and I'm one of those who always update (iOS) immediately and I haven't had this issue you mentioning, the inputs button is off :) (iPad Pro 11 M1 -- iOS 16.5).

    Interesting, thanks for that info.
    I wondered why I wasn't seeing a pile of bug reports in the mail and digging deeper it turns out the issue might well have been more localised to my development device.

    So if this happens to anyone else: I'm amending the above advice to simply delete Auditor and reinstall !

    And as I've had to put time into this today I'll spend some more time on it to release a maintenance update :smile:

    But somehow the top layout in portrait mode got a bit messed up!?

    No worries, I can switch to landscape when needed…
