Midi Transpose in Loopy Pro
Hi there,
I'm a newbie to Loopy pro. I wonder how I can transpose a keyboard and maybe set an action button for it.
I have two Akai LPK 25 Mini-keyboards and both run into Pure piano.
I know that if I click and hold the Pure Piano icon in the Channel of one oft these LPK 25, that I can adjust transpose.
BUT: First of all that's very uncomfortable
Second: I have to do it for both keyboards.
I wonder if there's not a plugin which I can have in the pre-routing of the Pure Piano to adjust the transpose-steps.
AND if there is a possibility to assign a button in loopy pro to do this automatically for example for 5 semitones, or 3, or...
Any suggestions?

There are a number of MIDI AUv3 that can do transposition. MIDI Tools is a bundle that has a key zones and transposition tool. Streambyter and Mozaic are scripting apps that can be set up to transpose and you could set up presets to transpose by different amounts or use AUv3 parameters to change the transposition.
I've downloaded mozaic, but I don't know how to setup it in loopy pro so that it attaches the keyboards. It don't shows up as an effect.
Sorry, but can you give me a more detailed explanation?
I'm just a poor little dummy :-)
Add Mozaic instances by using Add Midi in the mixer view. To route a keyboard through a Mozaic instance, add the Mozaic instance as a destination for the keyboard. Then add the synth you want to control as a destination of the Mozaic instance.
You will probably use a different instance for each keyboard
I recommend mfxStrip as a handy transposition tool. Routing would be the same as with Mozaic, but you don't need to do any programming.
There are scripts on patchstorage that handle the transposition. So, if he already has Mozaic, no programing needed.
There's no harm in having alternatives.
These are scripts on patchstorage that have tranpose in the description. It looks like 3 or 4 of them might do what needs to be done:

Ok for now. The easier way was indeed to take maxstrip instead of mosaic. I gave mosaic back.
So: Is it possible to assign a button which transpose 5 semitones in mfxstrip with one click and another which transpose for example -3 semitones?
That would be great!
Save each as a preset and use a widget o midi binding to switch presets.
Wonderful! Thanks!
