Editing Lumbeat Drum apps - only the Ride section?
I can successfully add more notes to a pattern, but how do you specify it is ONLY to play when the variation (or fill and switch hats/ride) is pressed?
At the moment any additions I make play all the time.

30 looks and no-one has any idea - this is why the developer REALLY should provide a manual!
I don't think it would be in a manual because I don't think it's something that you can do.
Inter app audio is dead anyway
Beat scholar is the future
Try the Live Pads.. you can edit any pad that you saved and play back, Song Mode.. and FD has Live Mode.. amazing and versatile stuff.. Apple should buy him out… Lumbeat and Logic would be, well…
damn! I had a hunch it wouldn't be - still disappointed it can't be though!
Thing that caused me to think it might be was that the apps default beats DO do this, to varying degrees
It cannot do half the stuff Lumbeat apps can I wouldn't think, in the way it's done I mean. Seems Beat Scholar is simply a "pre-programmed" type of thing like all the rest!
I mean, I agree although it may well be the future... 🙂 But it's also nice to have a drum app at Lumbeat level in the present. It's pretty decent for a dead app! 👍
If Lumbeat didn’t crash my DAW every use I would probably be more into it but between no manual , no support and failing software, I’ll stick with the future (I know not everyone can program their drums but beat scholar makes that so easy now).
And your right pax , beat scholar does much more
What DAW crashed with what LUMBEAT app? I use a variety of their drummers with loopy pro, AUM and Auria pro. I don’t run into crash issues.
