Yes!
Was just ranting to my wife about it today, and a few hours later there it was! Baby is asleep, heading out to the studio (crappy garage) to try it out. So pumped!
PHEW! Glad that's solved.
Hey only almost two months after the Logic release too!
It has been less than a month. Logic was released on May 23
I wish Apple had fixed this a few days ago. In desperation I bought another CCK with charge through and sure enough it didn't work either until I updated to OS 16.5.1
Great news! Thanks
Where do you live?
Did you buy from apple ( have recipt )
?
Glad the fix is here, disappointed it took so long.
The logic still stands that it was a lengthy screw up
Sadly it looks like it hasn’t fixed the Safari tab order bug.
Yes waaay too long to wait on a bug this big. I’m far from a professional and don’t gig but if I did I can only imagine how upsetting this would be. It would potentially render your setup useless. I’m surprised there wasn’t a lot more outrage tbh.
Was going to post a little jam I did but the glitchy effects I used with the way the the guitar was harmonizing in a wide stereo field sounded like garbage on my phone and tablet speakers. Sounded awesome in headphones. Still learning when it comes to mixing and mastering for sound quality across devices.
Does the TB morphit app help with this sort of thing? Any other tips or apps that could help me get a better idea of how my mix will sound on various devices? Should I just not jam with headphones and only on monitors? Not always easy for me with baby and family.
Oh good, maybe I'll update this evening, I'm still on 16.4.
@emc87 My experience has been if I mix on my monitors it will sound good in my headphones, if I mix with headphones it may or may not sound good through speakers.
Good news! I’ve got 3 devices to update tonight.
