Seriously. Lots of MIDI controllers listed there. And then there's this:

Oooh this look niiiice
Behringer X-Touch mini ?
Any knobs? Like pots OK, or encoders like on the MFT. Also the encoders on the MFT are far better than (most) anything else out there.

Looks cool!
Yeah that would be perfect. If it ever comes out!!
Thanks!
Encoders would be best I guess!
These look interesting thanks!
I have an akai mpk mini mi 2 it’s great but if I could just have the encoders without the rest… I wonder if it’s possible to mod?
I personally wouldn’t go into modding to save money. I’d end up butchering something I could have sold and bought korg nanokontrol or what @sigma79 has suggested instead.
As far as I remember mpk motherboard is the size of the unit itself so you cannot just saw off the keyboard part and end up with a sleek and small knob unit.
.
ok that's very sensible advice!!!!
This thing is built like a cheap toy, but it has 8 knobs, 8 sliders and quite a couple of buttons. Haven't tried it with iOS, but on desktop it worked fine mapping the sliders and knobs via midilearn. And cheap it is...

The NanoKontrol 2 works great in iOS. You have to configure it on the desktop if you want to modify it from the defaults. If you set it into ‘CC’ mode then you can map every button and fader as desired.
Good to know, might give it a try![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
The link didnt include the rotary encoder controller

but would have to get an opinion.
The screen on ec4 is cool, though.
My favorites are EC4 and TX-6. SL Mixface is budget option.
I keep coming back to the Korg Nanokontrol too, again and again. Tiny, full of controls and it does its job.
Danny did a really great job w/ his script for the NK2 if you haven’t seen:![](https://img.youtube.com/vi/o8DwmxcsAZg/0.jpg)
Thanks for the reminder. Just checked and got a midi fighter twister off local Amazon. They were sold out a while back and I ended up in ‘alternative solutions hell’ for a while. The knobs can do double shift as faders and it’ll work for both ipad and desktop to complement a very knob poor keystep 37. I’ve been trying to hold out for a nanokey studio to go on sale, but the price just keeps going up - which is too high for the cheap build. Plus the keys are redundant when I just want it for the knobs. Before buying, I was looking at the novation control xl, but decided to skip because the pots are not endless. Tried using an old Arturia beatstep, but the pots straight up were not accurate. Not exactly sure why I skipped the nanokontrol, but I’ll tell the brain center responsible for buyer’s remorse that the reason is really good and well researched.
Thanks @AlmostAnonymous, that's great news for me! 😃
Same. Amazing for Koala, Drambo, both together, anything really. I write on mine with a white chalk marker. It has one fader knob missing , but so what?
For you MIDI Fighter Twister users, there's a useful script on Patchstorage that can be used to send feedback to the LED rings and can also reset the ring indicators on host session load. You route the Twister to the script and the script output to both the target parameters and back to the Twister.

It’ll work with other controllers that respond to midi feedback too.
Very cool
The nanokontrol has been pretty perfect for my needs. I’ve been thinking about getting a second one
