Control Zoom stompboxes (MS-70CDR, MS-60B, G1On) from iPad via MIDI ?
Are there any apps or presets for apps / plug-ins that allow me to control my Zoom stompboxes via MIDI ? Ideally I would love to have a plug-in that exposes some basic parameters like select preset or changing the settings of the pedals encoder knobs as AUv3 parameters.
I have an MS-70CDR, an MS-60B and a G1On. All pedals show up as MIDI receivers in AUM.
I did some search on the web and did not find any iOS software but it looks as SysEx messages are used to talk to these pedals.

I think in CTRLR for PC you can build something, I used it for remote control my Roland S760 sampler.

For IOS I have no experience, only with Mozaic but I am not sure it sends sysex code.
Thanks for the links, specially the github one. Not sure if I want to jump through the hoops and write something myself - doing coding as part of my work is enough. I was hoping someone had already invented that wheel.
However, Mozaic does SYSEX, but then it depends on the host app and the MIDI interface to make it work. I had MIDI interfaces that struggled with sysex.
I use the MIDI Designer app to control some of my guitar pedals, more information in this thread, I would imagine the setup will also work with your Zoom pedals:

Mozaic doesn’t rely on the interface more than any other app that could send sysex. If you have a poor quality interface that doesn’t pass sysex, no app will work.
Streambyter and Mozaic and TouchOSC can send and receive sysex. Loopy Pro can send simple sysex messages.
In @richardyot ’s post above I mention trying to do something similar with a Zoom B1on which s basically the same as the ones you’re using, I actually have the G1on pedals/firmware on it.
These pedals obviously have a way of communicating via midi, as the desktop app does. But it’s not documented anywhere that I’ve seen. If you look around you might something that works, I gave up as I don’t rely on it too much.
What you could do is use the desktop apps (Zoom's own app, or the Tonelib version), and look at the midi sysex with some midi monitor application. And then replicate this in IOS with a midi builder app like mentioned before.
Just use the pedals as is intended will probably be the easy way out. Using sysex when it is documented in the manual is already a pain.
