Nice One @thesoundtestroom
The iKaossilator would be a super nice addition to Korg Gadget with an alternate way to input notes using the 'Kaoss Pad'.
Considering that Korg dropped support for iDS-10 (Which has a really bonkers speech-synthesizer and synth-engine) I would not be surprised if the next ones to get 'dropped' are iKaossilator and iElectribe as they have not sen any updates for ages...
I'm honestly very puzzled by Korg's iOS-Strategy (if they still have any?!) considering that their desktop offerings (when on sale) are definite 'iPad Prices' ($299 for the Korg Collection 4 which boils down to ~$20 per app) and Gadget is cheaper for desktop than a fully loaded iPad version which requires additional purchases.
I do hope Korg has some nice surprises around the corner for iOS/iPadOS users...
Cheers!
@Samu I know, it’s all a bit bonkers.
I absolutely love iElectribe, it’s such a great app, I even really like the Electrine Wave, that app has some really great features, and its synth engine is AUv3.
Is the iPhone Electribe any different from the iPad version?
Yes, they are two completely different apps, the iPhone version is more 'true' to the original Electribe ER-1 hardware.
When running them side-by-side they both have their own 'sound signature' which is really weird.
The sound of the iPhone version is very close to the KORG Collection - ELECTRIBE-R
