mod seq.recommendation needed (midi fx, works in logic)
as the title says. Looking for something not too bloated to feed the almighty hilda in logic ipad. Mainly to modulate different parameter (til we can use the velocity lane to modulate different stuff in hilda 😉)
Anything? Mozaic?What else?

What did you land on?
😉
But well…nothing. Maybe i gonna build something with drambo one day. .
😎
mLFO is pretty handy for modulating
oh, thats a step in the right direction. Thanks 👍
You can use Logic’s modulator for LFOs for example to control parameters via the learn parameter menu item. You can also use Logic automation. I guess that Hilda was updated to allow this since the OP. Anyway you don’t need third party stuff to modulate Hilda in Logic now.
I like to use the pattern editor for the switches.
__To have a pattern editor on a separate track, make a midi region and use the pencil to create two or more different pitches, then select the region and select Convert -> split by note pitches. Then delete the regions and you have multiple tracks that point to the same instrument __
Many thanks @klownshed
I‘m well aware of the logic automation, it was always one of my favorite things in logic 😉 It‘s just not as quick and intuitive (or inspirational) than a“real“ sequencer (something more like a traditional step sequencer). Though i never used patterns yet. I like the idea and give it a try 🤔
Patterns absolutely is a step sequencer. You can automate any parameter with it as shown above.
Use the trick I mentioned above to get an additional ‘lane’ so you can have step sequenced automation separate from the note regions. Use patterns of different lengths to the notes to get more evolving sequences.
One other thing. You can use automation in regions rather than tracks so you can duplicate the region then change the notes keeping the automation intact. This makes it almost like having automation templates.
