early beta version of a new effect app
hello!
I'm making a new app and i'm actually interested on the feedback while it is in a very early stage. It's a cross-synthesis / morphing AUv3 effect.
i'll open some space for this beta and will add more slots later when the development goes further. Here is the link:

thanks!

I've been playing with this for a few hours and I can say that it's very interesting - Alex is turning out some cool effects at the moment...
This is verrry interesting!!
Happy to try her out. Yes I refer to apps in the feminine because I’m totally hooked, lol.
Been messing with it this for last day or 2 and it’s really fun and interesting! No crashes so far using 3/4 instances with lots of dragging and touching which is great! Big fan 👏
I must be possessed by Miles Davis when it comes to apps. I always refer to them as “this motherfucker”and “that motherfucker” or “I miss that motherfucker” when thinking of an app that has been pulled from the store.
😂😂😂😂 props for a good Miles reference. Bonafide genius.
This app is a nice one!
Sorry to ask but I see A lot of ABF members are also beta testers and I was just wanting to know how you can find out when or where to sign up for a beta or volunteer to be a tester? Or how do you get invited?
Most of the time it’s just threads like these where the dev is nice enough to post and let us all know. If you’ve been around the iOS world long enough though, and the devs know/trust you, you can get invited specifically.
Most developers will let you beta if you contact them.
It’s a lot more work than you might think!
Definitely. You really gotta be willing to put the apps through the wringer in multiple different hosts. Trying every feature multiple times. Using multiple instances with automation, etc. I enjoy it though.
Thanks for the replies. If you like it then it’s worth it ! As for me, I better stick to just trying to make music with the awesome tools I already bought
Love this! I got a crash on my iPhone se 2 when I first got it and was going pretty hard on moving every fader wildly and not knowing what I was doing but has been reliable since. Will try it out on my iPad soon. So cool to have an awesome morph effect like this!!!
Yep been very stable for me as well so far and I’ve been really putting through the wringer. Or trying to.
Running it as a multi bus in AUM in 2 audio channels can create some very interesting effects.
this recent rc update seems to be pretty mixed up.
In AUM, it’s barely registering the main input, just giving some static, and the 2nd i/o barely changes and seems to mostly stay with the dry signal.
It was working “as intended” before.
Although sidenote, is there any possibility there might need to be some logarithmic/linear conversions, like with the volume….not an expert on that but with the main Volume for example, it”s not linear, mainly changes drastically at the top.
Thx for this though. Haven’t had mich time to mess about with music but you’re putting out cool stuff.
@shazbot hello. thanks for the feedback! will test that, looks like some weird glitch
currently, the volume is actually logarithmic, it's -70..0 dB; the dry/wet slider is linear
👍🏽👍🏽
Sounds good! Are you planning on making the Volume slider linear?
actually i didn't but i can add a volume range switch later, this may work
