KORG iElectribe for iPhone - Works Perfectly on the iPad - Full Walkthrough & Tutorial

Here is a real blast from the past that still performs and sounds great.
The KORG iElectribe for the iPhone was first released in 2015, and last updated in 2022.
This was recorded with my iPad and it looks great on the big screen.
I do love the iElectribes, there are very entertaining.

  • Nice!
Doesn't the photorealistic UI help to provide almost a hardware-like experience?

  • I still wish Korg would updated iElectribe to match the desktop version...

...or at least add it as a Gadget to Gadget...

I think it's more 'maintenance mode' as Gadget recently got an update to fix audio sync issues in the Audio Gadgets.

Don't know if Doug @thesoundtestroom dears to investigate further but it would definitely be of interest to everyone.
The 'radio silence' gives a shaky feeling and I can honestly no longer recommend anyone to buy Korg apps...

Agreed. I have 20 bucks on my account that was destined for Baby Audio BA-1 (maybe), but then came the sale and thought about getting module. But I have been getting this weird vibe from korg for some years and always resist getting the remaining gadgets I dont have/want or Module.

Ahhh, the classic bleep blooper, one of my favs! I really should get the VST soon to feed into Endlesss. So fun and scifi!

As for Korg and iOS I imagine that in the land of graph$ and chart$ the current Korg lineup is still doing it's proper 'brand awareness' upsell job for them on the iOS platform and it's mission is more or less maintained with new apps not really contributing much to this function.

(Or they are cooking up a killer new Gadget3 or something!?)

  • Looks great in stage manager mode

  • meanwhile, I’m really glad that @thesoundtestroom is revisting the great ones, deprecated or not

    thanks Doug!

  • If anyone has both ipad iphone versions, which should I pick up while on sale? Maybe the video gets into that.

  • @Littlewoodg Thanks, I do enjoy revisiting the old stuff👍😊

  • I’ve owned a few Electribe in the past. Just looked how much they are on eBay and they are entering silly money orbits.

  • Nice! I LOVE the hardware Electribe series. Always been tempted by this one but never took the plunge. A friend has it on his iPad and I’ve messed with it on there a few times in the past and it’s great.
