Mute inputs when changing audio interface (iPad mics)
Hi,
I have a recurring and annoying issue in Loopy… I work on a project with my Tascam12 interface, where I have the guitar to input 1, mic to input 2, etc, etc… The problem comes when I later open the same Loopy project without being connected to the interface, just iPad standalone.
The inputs are then switched to iPad internal mics and there’s a super loud noise, from the iPad mics monitoring through whatever is set. Where on the Tascam there’d be no noise as either the input faders are down or there’s no signal from the guitar, the iPad mics are really loud, I can hear the amplified street noise, tv or whatever…
Just like there’s a “Reset audio sends” setting to account for interface change and loading, I wish there was the same for inputs. The possibility to mute all inputs when audio interface changes or when loading a project.

Did you get it sorted?
The behavior has been improved. The old setting was removed in favor of a setting that mutes only the input if the audio interface changes and there is a possible feedback loop.
