Does Korg Nanokey Studio come with the Gate Arp function of Nanopad 2?
Hello Audiobus community,
I tend to use a lot the gate arp function that comes with the Korg Nanopad 2. I was wondering if the Korg Nanokey Studio shares the same feature with its X-Y pad.
Thank you!

Yep, the NKS arp works with the XY pad. I can't say it's the same as on the Nanopad 2 though. All I know is it plays back notes. You can only use it with one note at a time.
Thank you! Let me explain my setup a little bit better: I use the Gate Arp to send samples triggered by the pads (in CC, not Notes) at the speed I manage via the XY touchpad within a Drambo patch. I see that the Nanokey Studio has more types of arpeggiators, is it possible to manage the speed of the pads with the Arp function on as I do with the Nanopad 2?
example:
No, it doesn't do that. You can only play scale notes that trigger according to the arp. You can't affect the speed of the arp. The only way to control the arp speed is either by sending clock from whatever it's attached to, or by using the tap tempo button for the internal clock.
