  • Love it.. Fat tune..good job.

  • thx dude :-)

  • I loke it. How does your creative process look like, how do you structure songs, build up the sections and so on?

  • It's all done with korg gadget...usually i start with a simple beat, then a bassline and then trying out some ideas. I save the settings from my last project and try to modify them for the new song, so i dont have to start from zero every time.
Sorry for my Bad english...I am from germany :-)

  • bilbao testing :-)

  • Don't apologize for your English; far better than most of our German I promise you.

Interesting to hear something 'from' Bilbao. What it makes realize/feel is how generic some of the 'general' sounds we use in this kind of music are, the sound of the voice saying 'yeah' or whatever, and the repetition, but as soon as the other vocal samples came in I thought they were great and really got my attention. Even more so because I don't (apart from the 'elephant') understand the words and so am only listening to the rhythm, placement and tone. Very good.

Of course, and this is a side issue, I always worry when I am tapping along to lyrics/samples I don't understand that if I KNEW what they said I might find them a) banal or b) objectionable personally or politically :) As it is they're just noise, and these sounded good to me.

Did you record them yourself or did you'find' them elsewhere?

Look forward to hearing more about your process/pleasures/frustrations with this gadget.

  • thx Johnny :-) the samples: wer, wie, wo, Elefant came from me...that just means...who, how, where, elephant hehe...pitched them a little bit and used the slicer effect on them. that yeah Sound is my voice too. the samples in the middle part are from a german hiphop band called "deichkind" it´s a funny conversation between a member of that band and a old man, with his wife in the backround...and they want him to feature on their new album...but he is busy and so on :-)

  • Nice work aggrobube. I like both those tunes!
