  • Have not tried it, but just to mention that the Nembrini IR Loader app is currently half price at around 5 bucks. Not sure if it has a limit to the length of IRs that can be loaded. AltiSpace 2 is the main one I use, it gives you a lot of control but it is cpu heavy and can’t play IRs for longer than 15 seconds, if I remember right.

  • If you have miRack there’s a great one inside it that you can use as an auv3 and load your own responses

Like Gavin mentioned the 15 seconds limitation, do you know if that is the case in the miRack IR player? Really need to buy it someday soon, it has been collecting dust on my list for too long now.

I tried loading a 90 sec wav now and it worked fine 👍

Thafknar is a good one. The interface isn’t beautiful, but it does the job. It’s my go to for reverb IRs.
IMPULSation is nicer to look at.
I’ve never had good luck with the miRack one. But maybe it has improved since my last try.
I’ve only ever tried the Nembrini one for cabinets. I don’t know how it would do on longer reverb impulses. It’s my go to for cabinet IRs.

  • Does anyone know if anyampir can handle files of any length? I don't have very long IRs. I certainly don't have anything like a 90 second ir so can't test it. It's cheap, it's also very bare bones tho

    thanks mate!

  • Chowdsp BYOD as 2 ir loader and it’s free.

  • Drambo has a Convolver module which can be used to load IR files.

You’re welcome mate! I made it a habit always to check miRack first before searching for new plugins 😄

This, i keep repeating this like parrot, miRack is infinite source of all kinds of plugins, you can literally use jusz host + mirack and you never get out plugins, most of them in absolute superb hardware-like quality

That's a great tip! This is one of his plugins I've overlooked, but they're always top notch, Jatin is the man!

Many thanks for that tip! It doesn’t seem to cut the IR like in AlitSpace, very happy with that :)

yep! i have to spend more time with mirack.
i just compare cpu load and choose the simplest solution.

  • anyone got a source for free space echo impulses?

  • oh migod. that would be the right name for mirack. diving into that rabbit hole now,
see you guys next year. 🤙

Your welcome! This app is often overlooked even by me at first. It is packet with features including a oscilloscope and a tuner.

Another thanks from me - I had BYOD but have barely used it as I thought it was mainly for guitar distortion. Am now feeling silly - the thing has all sorts in it! The whole CHOW series is remarkable.

My pleasure to spread the good word for Jatin creations.

While I am at it, here’s a obscure tip about BYOD. It as IAP 😱😱
