Another desert themed flute tune
this is kinda "off topic". the only reason I'm putting here is because it happens to be desert themed (coincidentally from my last post here - this one isn't even my song) so of course I had to use the Other Desert Cities reverb and even found the “False Oasis” patch which fits perfectly (Also uses the Steroizer Reerse Flutter patch even though it isn't thematic )

You a trip bro.
Thanks.
Lovely. I like hand pans a lot, and your amazing flute work with a variety of interesting and unusual instruments is always inspiring. That double flute thing looks like a beast.
Have you had any experience with the cheap end of EWIs? I’m thinking of things like the Re: corder,
on the principal that I could either slowly build up a vast collection of real, beautiful ethnic flutes that I can’t play, or just get one EWI which I also can’t play, but which I can feed through scalers and quantisers to drive a vast collection of ethnic flute samples instead.
I have not tried the Re:corder but I do have a WARBL
https://warbl.xyz/
The WARBL is strictly MIDI. I think you'd have a lot of fun with either
This time it is mystical desert, a great song, I like it a lot. It’s fascinating how different flutes change the character of the song, love the sound of that last one. Steel drums are fantastic too. 🤩
BTW, impressive collection of flutes!
😎Actually that my collaborator's collection. He's the guy playing the drum. He's also a flute maker. In fact, he made the one you're talking about. My collection isnt quite as big but I might be catching up. 🙃
This is mesmeric and wonderful. Had to retrieve my head from somewhere else afterwards, which is always a good sign.
This is mesmeric and wonderful… +1
Mesmerising, indeed! Lovely flutes and lovely playing. Took me away to a nice place!
Love this. Perfect effects used. I’ve never seen a flute like that before.
Thanks gents. Yes, that's a unique flute design. Only two makers I know of currently doing something similar
